On ExReps we have two areas that are password protected, and this causes some confusion.

Forgotten or Lost Passwords

As a security precaution, we have no access to password information for users of the system. We do have two areas here that do have password protection. Here is some information about how to recover lost or forgotten passwords.

• Forums Area
  If you have lost or forgotten your password for logging into the Forums Area, click here to visit the lost password page http://exreps.com/Forums/index.php?action=reminder and follow the instructions.  You have two choices, you can answer the secret question and you will be given the password on the spot, or you can enter your email address and a new password will be sent to that address. Use the new password to log in and then visit your profile to change your password to whatever you want it to be.
  If you have both forgotten the answer to the secret question, and no longer have access to your old email account you can send me an email at jayc@exreps.com with your new email address, I will update your profile and you can take it from there
  
• Mailing List
  Access to our mailing list subscription services panel is also password protected. This is where most of the confusion comes in. On the first of the month, the system automatically sends you a reminder of your Mailing list password, many folks think this is also the password for the Forums area.
  
  Not so, the Mailing list is a separate package. To make changes to your mailing list subscription, or to recover your Mailing list password, click on this link http://exreps.com/mailman/listinfo/members_exreps.com and follow the instrtuctions.  Again if your email address has changed and you no longer have access to your old account, drop me a line with your new email address and I will update your mailing list account
